Academic snapshot
Marks: 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout 10th, 12th, diploma, UG (and PG if taken)
Degree: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc 5-yr CS/IT; often all branches
Backlogs: No standing arrears during the process
Gap: Typically max ~2 years
Mindtree merged with L&T Infotech in November 2022 to form LTIMindtree, an L&T Group digital consulting and IT services firm. Campus placement papers and older PDFs may still list Mindtree as the employer name. Freshers joining today typically work under the LTIMindtree brand.

LTIMindtree is a volume campus hirer under two brand names. The academic floor is usually 6.0 / 60% throughout. Communication and one complete coding submit are what separate a GET offer from a polite reject mail.
| Route | What usually changes | What stays the same |
|---|---|---|
| Campus / pool | PPT, college % list, long gaps between OA and HR (GFG 2025 batch) | Aptitude + communication bar |
| Careers portal | Form + platform invite | Same written flavour |
| Referral | Visibility | You still sit every elimination round |
Off-campus does not mean easier quant. It often means more applicants who skip speaking practice.
Is 6.0 CGPA enough? It matches many GET mailers (or 60%). The phrase that matters is throughout 10th, 12th, diploma if any, UG, and PG if taken. A 7.9 B.Tech with 58% in 12th is how people get dropped after OA. A 6.2 who finishes aptitude, speaks clearly, and submits one program beats an 8.5 who mumbles and leaves coding blank.
10th / 12th: They count. Keep marksheets.
What helps the resume screen: Readable English, one project, any internship. Digital-transformation buzzwords without a sentence you can say aloud do not help. See certifications after aptitude and speaking, not instead of them.

Skills they actually filter
Written: Aptitude + technical MCQs
Coding: 1 complete easy-medium program on many drives
Communication: Read, listen, short speak
Languages: C, C++, Java, Python
| Item | Typical expectation | Reality check |
|---|---|---|
| Graduation | 60% or 6.0 | Mailer wins |
| 10th & 12th | Same throughout rule | Keep scans |
| Branches | Often all engineering + MCA | Confirm drive |
| Backlogs | None standing | Clear before joining |
| Shifts / relocate | Often mandatory language | HR will ask in five minutes |
Good fit: You can finish a timed aptitude paper, you will speak English into a mic, you will relocate to Bengaluru or Pune, and you can submit one array/string program.
Harder path: You only practiced coding and skipped quant; you freeze on read-aloud; you refuse shifts; you still call the company “just Mindtree 2019” in HR.
Branch myth: Mechanical and ECE are welcome on all-branch 2026 mailers. The communication round does not care. The coding round does not care either; it cares that you submit.
Gaps: Over ~2 years is the usual hard stop. Live arrears at exam time are a no.

Previous year question papers
LTIMindtree does not publish a permanent official paper set. Papers on this site are pattern trainers for aptitude, communication stamina, easy coding, and short interviews.
| Round (typical) | What to practice |
|---|---|
| Aptitude | Quant + logical + verbal under time |
| Communication | Not a PDF; you still must practise speaking |
| Technical MCQs | OOP, DBMS, output, CS fundamentals |
| Coding | 1-2 easy-medium arrays/strings/loops |
| Technical / HR | Project; city; shifts; Why LTIMindtree |
Think of papers as simulators for GET stamina. Themes repeat more than clones.
| Theme you saw | Drill next | Why LTIMindtree asks it |
|---|---|---|
| Percentages / puzzles | Speed + skip rules | Volume aptitude |
| Verbal | Grammar under clock | Same paper + communication |
| OOP / DBMS | One-liners | Technical MCQ + interview |
| One coding | Complete submit | GET / upgrade stories |
| HR logistics | City + shifts | 5-minute HR |
LTIMindtree hires freshers through campus cells, careers.ltimindtree.com, and referrals. After eligibility, the shape is classic Indian IT services with two twists: a merged brand (Mindtree + LTI) and a communication score inside many OAs.
Campus recruitment
Primary path. PPT (listen for GET CTC and DC cities), OA, interviews. Bengaluru and Pune both show up in student maps.

Help the screen. You still need aptitude accuracy and a speaking pass.
60% throughout, branch list, no standing arrears. Gate.
| Block | What students report | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Aptitude | Quant, logical, verbal | Skip monsters; accuracy under clock |
| Communication | Spoken / written English on 2026 mailers | Ranked round |
| Technical / coding | MCQs + 1-2 programs | Complete submit |
Older explainer pages still print 90 minutes, aptitude 15-18 / technical 5-7 / coding 1-2, no negative marking, sectional cutoffs. 2026 college letters group aptitude, communicational, and technical as one OA. Your invite wins.
Pass habit: 45-second skip rule on quant. Speak in full sentences. Submit one passing program before starting a clever second.
Resume language, OOP, DBMS, one coding follow-up, project. GFG 2025 batch: ~30 minutes C++ plus behavioral. Short, specific answers.
Relocation, shifts, Why LTIMindtree, joining. The 2025-batch GFG note: about five minutes and still decisive. Do not treat short as optional.
| Phase | Duration | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Register / PPT | Days | Read GET CTC slide |
| OA | 1 day | Results can take days |
| Technical + HR | Days to weeks | GFG 2025: OA 6 Sep, tech 11 Oct, HR 15 Oct |
| Offer / college list | Days to weeks | Selected 4 Nov in that write-up |
| End to end | 2-3 weeks or ~3 months | Campus calendars slip |
If you will not practise coding, register mentally as standard GET (~₹4-4.5 LPA) and still attempt the coding block (some explainers say strong coding unlocks a higher band). If you already finish easy LeetCode, aim for the cited premium/digital band and treat communication as the round that can still steal it. Do not quote ₹9 LPA in HR on a ₹4.05 mailer.
| Day | 15-minute drill |
|---|---|
| 1 | Record intro. Cut fillers. Re-record. |
| 2 | Read a paragraph aloud; listen back |
| 3 | 20 grammar MCQs |
| 4 | Project in 40 seconds |
| 5 | “Why LTIMindtree” in 30 seconds |
| 6 | Full mock: intro + project + why |
| 7 | Best take once. Sleep. |
This will not make you a debater. It will stop a blank communication submit.
Log every mock. That log is the prep plan.
10th, 12th, diploma if any, all semesters, ID, resume one page. Throughout 60% means the 12th PDF matters. PAN is often required at joining on 2026 GET notes.
Name, percentages, and dates must match the portal and the college form.
A LTIMindtree campus can take a large batch. Aptitude still deletes a chunk. Communication still deletes a chunk. Technical still deletes people who cannot explain their project. Your job is to be easy to say yes to: complete written, clear speech, one coding submit, documents ready, city answer ready.
College calendars can stretch (GFG 2025). Do not resign another offer until the PDF lands.
Students who “almost finished two” and submitted neither are the ones the 25-30% OA pass cites are about. One green problem is a shortlist. Zero is not.
HR does not need a 2019 Mindtree history lecture. One sentence is enough: “LTIMindtree is L&T Group digital consulting after the 2022 Mindtree and LTI merger; I want a GET seat in Bengaluru or Pune and I will learn the project stack.” If you still say “I applied to Mindtree Limited as a separate US company,” you sound like you did not read the PPT.
Legacy Mindtree culture stories (agile, collaborative, Bengaluru) and legacy LTI stories (Pune, manufacturing/BFSI accounts) both appear in student maps. Your DC will be allocated. Asking “only Bengaluru, never Pune” is fine if true. Pretending you will go anywhere and then refusing Pune after the letter is how colleges lose the next LTIMindtree cycle.
After every timed paper, write four lines:
Next mock, only attack line 1 and line 4 if those are your leaks. A 12-topic YouTube playlist is how people stay at 55% forever. The error log is how people clear sectional cutoffs that older explainers still print at 60-65% overall.
GET letters sometimes describe classroom or project training before full billing. Ask when CTC vs stipend language starts, if the letter splits them. Ask the DC. Ask whether shifts are client-driven. None of that is “negative.” It is how you decide against another ₹4 LPA services offer the same week.
If you already hold a 5 LPA offer with a city you will actually join, compare DC, shifts, and joining date before CTC ego. ₹4.53 LPA printed on a college slide is not a win if you will not go.

| Share | Work | Done when |
|---|---|---|
| 40% | Timed aptitude | Skip rules automatic |
| 25% | One complete coding submit | Passing arrays/strings in your language |
| 20% | Speaking | 60-second intro without freeze |
| 15% | OOP/DBMS + HR logistics | City and shifts decided |
Saturday 10:00: 60-minute aptitude.
Saturday 11:15: technical MCQs + one coding submit.
Saturday 16:00: 20-minute speaking.
Sunday 11:00: 20-minute technical oral (OOP + SQL + project).
Sunday 12:00: HR including city and shifts.
Two weekends of that beat twelve nights of random “LTI dumps.”
This week if the drive is in 10 days: one 60-minute aptitude every other day, one coding submit daily (same language), one recorded intro, city/shifts written on paper, 10th/12th PDFs in a folder named with your full legal name. That folder is the offer-stage pack. Missing it after a November select is a silly way to stall.
Full calendar: Mindtree preparation guide.
If a Mindtree (LTIMindtree) invite is 3-8 weeks out, treat this hub as the map and the linked practice pages as the drills. Do not reread eligibility ten times. Check the JD once, then spend hours on the filter that actually rejects people.
Typical fresher CTC chatter for Mindtree (LTIMindtree) sits around ₹4.0-4.5 LPA (candidate-reported - confirm the letter). Languages students mention most often: Java, C++, Python, C. Pick one and stay with it in OA and interviews.
Eligibility reminder (from student reports): Candidate-reported LTIMindtree/Mindtree eligibility for 2026 GET drives: 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout 10th, 12th, diploma if any, and degree; B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc 5-year integrated CS/IT; often all engineering branches; no standing arrears; gap typically max 2 years; full-time only. Confirm the campus mailer or careers.ltimindtree.com posting.
What you are training for: Most GET loops run: profile screen → Online Assessment (aptitude + communication + technical/coding) → panel (technical + HR). Campus mailers for 2026 batch cite this shape. Some cycles split coding or add a later interview day. End to end can be 2-3 weeks, or stretch across months like the GFG 2025-batch GET timeline.
Short version of the prep split: Split time roughly: 40% timed aptitude, 25% one complete coding submit, 20% communication/speaking, 15% OOP/DBMS plus relocation/shifts. LTIMindtree is volume services with an English filter. Week calendar: /mindtree/preparation-guide/.
Week 1 - pattern, not vibes. Oa pattern first: sit one untimed paper, then redo it under the real clock. Open the Mindtree (LTIMindtree) previous-year sets on this site and mark which sections ate your time. Write the timing on a sticky note. That number is more useful than a 200-problem LeetCode streak you never timed.
Week 2 - the steep filter. Most Mindtree (LTIMindtree) drives fail people on the first timed paper or OA. Do three timed sits this week. After each one, log every miss in a two-column note: topic and why (slow, wrong formula, bad edge case, panic). The next sit should only add problems from that log.
Week 3 - talk tracks. Technical interviews at Mindtree (LTIMindtree) usually want a clean project story, one or two CS fundamentals, and (if the process has it) a behavioral or values round. Write STAR stories on paper, not in your head. Practise “Why Mindtree (LTIMindtree)?” with one concrete product, lab, or business line - not a slogan.
Week 4 - mocks and logistics. Star stories + one project walkthrough recorded on your phone. If you still have energy, redo only the questions you failed in week 2.
| Slice | Share of weekly hours | What “done” looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Timed papers / OA | ~40% | You finish a Mindtree (LTIMindtree)-style sit without guessing the clock |
| Coding / role technical | ~30% | You can explain a solution out loud in your chosen language |
| Fundamentals / domain | ~20% | You can teach one OS/DBMS/networks (or domain) topic to a friend |
| Stories + HR | ~10% | Two STAR stories and a specific Why-this-company answer |
If you only have 10 days, keep the same ratios and cut volume, not the timed sits.
Use this hub for the Mindtree (LTIMindtree) story (eligibility, rounds, salary). Use those pages for timed reps and interview notes.
If you do one thing after reading this: schedule three timed Mindtree (LTIMindtree) papers on three different days, then interview prep on the leftovers.
A TCS/Infosys aptitude deck still helps the quant/logic slice of many Mindtree (LTIMindtree) papers, but do not assume the same cutoff culture. Read the process section on this page once, then swap in Mindtree (LTIMindtree)-specific coding or domain drills from the nested banks. Shared prep is fine; shared assumptions about rounds are not.
Days 1-3: one timed Mindtree (LTIMindtree) paper each day plus error log. Days 4-6: only the topics you missed, plus 4-6 coding problems in one language. Days 7-8: project + STAR + Why Mindtree (LTIMindtree). Day 9: one more full mock. Day 10: light review and sleep. This is worse than four weeks, but it beats rereading notes the night before.
Figures are candidate-reported / campus-mailer bands as of August 2026.
| Track | Typical CTC | Note |
|---|---|---|
| GET (standard) | ₹4.0-4.5 LPA | Mailers ~₹4.05 LPA or ~₹4.53 LPA |
| Premium / digital (cited) | ₹6.5-9 LPA | Coding/AI depth; not every campus |
| Associate (1-2 yr reports) | ₹6-7 LPA | Not the default campus GET |
| SE (2-3 yr reports) | ₹8-10 LPA | Lateral flavour |
Confirm base vs variable and joining DC on the written offer. Some 2026 GET posts say no service agreement; still read the PDF.
Health insurance, PF, learning/certifications, DC cities (Bengaluru, Pune, and others), shift norms (ask). Digital transformation is the PPT story; day-one work is still a project and a stack.
Know ₹4-4.5 GET. Ask whether a documented upgrade/premium track exists on this batch. Do not demand 9 LPA on a 4.05 letter.
The brand is LTIMindtree
Search Mindtree; apply LTIMindtree. Same GET filter.
Communication is on the 2026 OA
Campus letters list communicational assessment with aptitude and technical.
GET CTC printed around 4-4.5
₹4.05 / ₹4.53 mailer numbers. Premium bands are extra, not default.
Calendars can last months
GFG 2025 batch: August register to November select. Stay reachable.
Net for 2026: do not wait for LTIMindtree to become a coding-only product company. Double down on timed aptitude, speaking, and one complete program.
Yes. Free Mindtree / LTIMindtree placement papers PDF and 2024-2026 style practice are on this site. Start with the 2026 PDF or the archive.
GET: screen → OA (aptitude + communication + technical/coding) → technical → HR. Some panels merge. Often 2-3 weeks, sometimes months (GFG 2025 batch).
3 big gates after resume: OA, technical, HR. Communication sits inside many OAs. Count the mailer.
Yes. November 2022 merger with L&T Infotech. Both names appear on drives. Prep the invite in front of you.
Many 2026 campus mailers yes: communicational assessment with the OA. Practise out loud. Details on online assessment.
C, C++, Java, or Python. Interview follows your resume language plus OOP/DBMS.
Commonly 60% or 6.0 throughout; B.E./B.Tech/MCA and listed PG; often all branches; no standing arrears; gap ≤ ~2 years. Mailer wins.
GET ~₹4.0-4.5 LPA (mailers ~₹4.05 / ₹4.53). Premium/digital cited ~₹6.5-9 LPA. Confirm the letter.
Usually. Bengaluru, Pune, and other DCs. GFG 2025 HR: ~5 minutes on relocation, shifts, location. Answer honestly.
Some 2026 GET posts say no service agreement. Read your PDF. Do not trust a 2019 screenshot.
Many 2026 GET mailers yes, plus MCA / 5-year M.Sc CS/IT. Some colleges still list CSE/IT/ECE only. Read the notice.
Timed aptitude, one complete coding submit, weekly speaking, OOP/DBMS, city/shifts. Guide: preparation guide.
Treat communication as ranked. Finish one program. Stay reachable for a long campus calendar. Decide shifts before the five-minute HR.
All volume services with aptitude gates. LTIMindtree’s twist is the merged brand + GET ~₹4-4.5 print + communication on many 2026 OAs. Infosys/TCS have their own named exams. Prep aptitude+speaking for all; swap the Why-this-firm story.
Explainer pages cite a premium/digital band for strong coding. Treat as drive-specific. Ask HR if this batch has a documented upgrade. Still prepare to join as GET.
Reuse aptitude and speaking on Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant. Do not buy dumps. Fix the error log.
Register 20 August 2024 → PPT + OA 6 September → technical 11 October → HR 15 October → selected 4 November. HR ~5 minutes (relocation, shifts, location). Technical ~30 minutes C++ and behavioral. Takeaway: the calendar is long; short HR is still scored. Source: GeeksforGeeks.
All-branch GET, 60% throughout, OA with aptitude + communication + technical, panel interviews, CTC printed ~₹4.53 LPA on some college notes. Takeaway: do not prep a CSE-only 2019 paper if your letter says all branches and communication.
Students who finished two coding problems and could talk AI/project depth report higher cited bands on explainer pages. Students who quoted 9 LPA in a 4.05 GET HR did not help themselves. Takeaway: ask if the upgrade exists; join the letter in front of you.
What to steal: skip rules; weekly speaking; one complete submit; city/shifts decided; stay reachable for months.
What to ignore: Paying for Mindtree dumps; treating LTIMindtree as a different company you did not apply to; assuming 5-minute HR is a chat.
LTIMindtree is volume services with a merged brand. GET is a real ~₹4-4.5 LPA job. Communication is a ranked round on many 2026 letters. Students who treat speaking as optional and aptitude as “I’ll manage” fail the same OA everyone else sits.
Use timed papers on this site. Follow the preparation guide for a week calendar. Read interview experience and the HR page for city and shifts. Record your intro twice. Finish one coding problem. Print 10th and 12th. Decide the DC on paper. Then sit the drive.
If LTIMindtree and Infosys/TCS/Wipro all land the same week, compare city, CTC print, and whether communication already passed. Keep the same email thread. Classroom “selected” is not a letter. Wait for the PDF. Name and percentages must match every form.
Digital transformation is the PPT story. Day-one work is still a project. “I will only do GenAI” is a bad GET answer. “I write Java/Python and I will learn the stack” is the answer.
Interview day logistics: Laptop charged; quiet room for communication; college ID. Do not sit OA on dying hostel Wi-Fi.
Salary in HR: say you understand GET ~₹4-4.5 LPA from public mailers and you will read the letter. Ask once about premium/upgrade if you earned the coding score.
Keep practising until skip rules and a 60-second intro are automatic. That is Mindtree/LTIMindtree. Everything else is decoration.
Week plans stay on the preparation guide. This hub is the map: GET vs premium cite, 60% throughout, communication OA, ₹4-4.5, Bengaluru/Pune, long calendars.
Print 10th and 12th tonight. The drive will not wait. If you miss this cycle, the same aptitude and speaking transfer to Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. Reuse them.
Pool campus: more colleges, denser aptitude, same communication. Your college rank in the pool does not replace a complete coding submit. Speak as if the mic is scoring you, because on 2026 mailers it often is.
If the technical is 30 minutes of C++: they are not asking you to write a red-black tree. They are asking whether you can talk about pointers or OOP without lying about the resume. If you listed C++, revise copy constructors and references the night before, not “advanced STL trivia.” If you listed Java, revise OOP and collections. The GFG 2025 note mixed C++ with behavioral. That is the pattern: short, mixed, decisive.
If HR is five minutes: have three sentences ready and stop talking. (1) I will relocate to the allocated DC. (2) I can do shifts if the project needs them. (3) I understand GET CTC from the mailer and I will read the letter. Extra philosophy about “work-life balance” in a five-minute slot is how people sound like they will decline after joining.
Bond / agreement: some 2026 GET posts say none. If HR mentions a clause, ask for it in the PDF. Do not sign a classroom sheet and hope. Do not invent a ₹2 lakh Hexaware-style bond if the letter is silent.
Keep a backup Infosys/TCS/Wipro process live until LTIMindtree’s PDF and the cell Excel agree. A November select after an August register (GFG 2025) is a long time to have already resigned another offer. Patience is part of the prep.
