The hub and the year pages disagree on counts, so treat the numbers as varies by drive. Student notes usually report no negative marking and possible sectional cutoffs. Languages for coding: C, C++, Java, Python. GET paths can add document verification between the written and the panel.

Reliance 2026 question set

The 2026 expectation is continuity: a timer on aptitude, easy-medium array and string coding for IT, and Java/SQL plus Jio platform talk in interviews. GET candidates still face a core written and plant-project orals. Practise the aptitude block at 12 minutes even if your invite gives more time.

Q: The price of petrol rises by 25%. By what percentage must a family cut consumption to keep its monthly spend the same?

Spend = price × quantity. If price becomes 1.25 times, quantity must become 1/1.25 = 0.8 times.

Cut = 1 − 0.8 = 0.2, so 20%. Shortcut: r / (100 + r) × 100 = 25/125 × 100 = 20.

Answer: 20%

Q: Statements: All routers are devices. Some devices are servers. Conclusion: Some routers are servers. Does the conclusion follow?

The “servers” part of “devices” may sit entirely outside “routers”. No statement forces an overlap between routers and servers.

Answer: Does not follow

Q: Table recharges(mobile, amount, recharge_date). Write a query for the number of recharges and total amount per day.

A common follow-up: an index on mobile speeds up lookups by number, which is the most frequent access pattern in a subscriber system.

Q: GET (chemical). Which unit operation separates a liquid mixture based on differences in boiling point?

Distillation. Components with lower boiling points vaporise first and are condensed separately. Absorption and extraction rely on solubility, not boiling point.

Q: Coding. Rotate an array to the right by k steps in place.

Reverse the whole array, then reverse the first k elements, then the rest.

Reliance 2025 question set

The 2025 set on this site keeps aptitude, technical and verbal blocks, with reasoning shifting toward syllogisms and statement-assumption items. Technical MCQs leaned on networking and DBMS. Interview notes from 2025 stress Jio platforms and Java/SQL for IT. Intern drives ran a written test and then a Teams technical inside the TPO office.

Q: How many litres of water must be added to 30 litres of a mixture that is 80% milk to make it 60% milk?

Milk = 30 × 0.8 = 24 litres. It stays fixed.

For 24 litres to be 60%, total = 24 / 0.6 = 40 litres.

Water to add = 40 − 30 = 10 litres.

Answer: 10 litres

Q: A 300 m train crosses a 200 m platform in 25 seconds. What is its speed in km/h?

Distance = 300 + 200 = 500 m. Speed = 500 / 25 = 20 m/s.

20 × 18/5 = 72 km/h.

Answer: 72 km/h

Q: Statement: “From next month, all employees must file expenses through the new app.” Assumption I: Employees can learn to use the app. Assumption II: The old paper process will continue. Which is implicit?

A rule like this assumes people can follow it, so I is implicit. II contradicts the word “all” and the switch to the app.

Answer: Only I is implicit

Q: Which transport protocol guarantees ordered, reliable delivery: TCP or UDP?

TCP uses sequence numbers, acknowledgements and retransmission, so data arrives in order. UDP sends datagrams with no delivery or ordering guarantee, which suits live video and DNS lookups.

Q: Coding. Return the first non-repeating character in a string, or “-1” if none.

Count in one pass, then scan again for the first count of 1.

Reliance 2024 question set

The 2024 cycle was aptitude and reasoning first. Students who practised untimed quant lost the 12-minute section. Coding on IT drives stayed easy-medium implementation, such as arrays, strings, primes and parentheses. Technical MCQs covered SQL and OOP basics.

Q: A sum at simple interest amounts to ₹6,600 in 3 years and ₹7,800 in 5 years. Find the principal and the rate.

Interest for 2 years = 7,800 − 6,600 = ₹1,200, so ₹600 per year.

Principal = 6,600 − 3 × 600 = ₹4,800.

Rate = 600 / 4,800 × 100 = 12.5%.

Answer: ₹4,800 at 12.5% per annum

Q: In an election between two candidates, the winner gets 58% of the votes and wins by 2,400 votes. How many votes were cast?

Loser gets 42%. Margin = 58 − 42 = 16% of total.

16% = 2,400, so total = 2,400 / 0.16 = 15,000.

Answer: 15,000

Q: A is B’s sister. C is B’s mother. D is C’s father. How is A related to D?

C is the mother of A and B. D is C’s father, so D is A’s maternal grandfather. A is female.

Answer: Granddaughter

Q: Which Java keyword stops a class from being extended?

A class declared final cannot be subclassed. String is a common example. A final method cannot be overridden, and a final variable cannot be reassigned.

Answer: final

Q: Coding. Count the primes less than or equal to n.

Use the Sieve of Eratosthenes.

How to use one paper in a timed sitting

  1. Set a 12-minute timer for the aptitude block if your invite mentions that slice. Otherwise use the full 60-90 minute clock.
  2. Minute 0-1: skim all questions and mark the easy ones. Minute 1-8: quant and easy logical. Skip a long puzzle at second 40. Minute 8-11: verbal and leftovers. Minute 11-12: guess only if there is no negative marking.
  3. IT track: spend about 20-25 minutes on technical MCQs, then code the obvious array or string problem first and submit it.
  4. GET track: replace the coding step with a timed set of branch numericals.
  5. Review untimed. Tag each miss as speed or concept and map it to a cousin on the coding questions or aptitude questions page.
  6. Spend 15 minutes explaining a Jio-like flow (IT) or your plant project (GET) out loud.
