Solution:
Let CP = ₹100 Marked Price (MP) = 100 + 30% of 100 = ₹130 Discount = 10% of 130 = ₹13 Selling Price (SP) = 130 - 13 = ₹117 Profit = 117 - 100 = ₹17 Profit % = (17/100) × 100 = 17%
Answer: 17%
Question 2: Time and Work
Section titled “Question 2: Time and Work”Q2: A can complete a work in 10 days, B in 15 days. In how many days will they complete the work together?
Solution:
Let total work = LCM of 10, 15 = 30 units
A’s efficiency = 30/10 = 3 units/day B’s efficiency = 30/15 = 2 units/day
Combined efficiency = 3 + 2 = 5 units/day Time taken = 30/5 = 6 days
Answer: 6 days
Reasoning Ability Questions

Solution:
